Hello guys...


i found this company on the internet and was wondering if anyone has experience with them? How are the internet service and service overall??

Their website is not up to date and I phoned them asking about their bundle packages that is R 1199.00 for 8 meg down and up

that includes this with a 24 month contract.

Uncapped Data Usage (No FUP)
Asymmetric Line Speed
Static IP Address
Free Installation & Wifi Router
Free co.za Domain Registration
5x Email Accounts
20GB Online Backup Account
On 24 Month Contract

They have with the Updated price list 10 meg for R 1450.00 per month with the same as above features included.

but i dont want to take something thats not going to live up to its standards and then I end up paying for 24 months for crap.

any relevant response on this topic would be appreciated.

I see they offer a free 1 week trial, why not try that?
 
Still going to give it a shot (free trail)! but would be nice to find out the QOS after a few months
 
Ok so they installed the 7 day free trail and the speeds where fluctuating between 3.1 mbps download and 6.4

and It was bothering me because I signed up for the following package... BIT internet.jpg

Uncapped, Unshaped, No FUP and 1:10 content ratio on 8 meg account for the 7 days till i make up my mind.

I emailed them asking why is my line doing this? And they responded with its a 8 meg shaped line... OK WTF? SHAPED?! Thought its unshaped and showed them this. image, they said its a typo and cant give me the service that was stated in the package. I said that I signed up for the package (still not being an ******* neither them) with all these goodies and I want them. They where kindly enough to offer me a 1 month free of charge service or they will look into it to give me Unshaped :D

Think this is a good start from BSIT already and the customer Experience is very good so far. hope they keep it up.


I REALLY HOPE THEY GIVE ME UNSHAPED! FOR R1199 PM exl vat.

Ok so the past 7 days....

Download speeds where meh... 3.5 at max for most of the trail out of 8
Upload speeds was a joke.... 0.04 not going more than 0.15 at max for most of the trail.

They upped the frequency and the download speeds went from 3.5 to 7 mbps out of 8
The uploadspeeds touched 1 mbps and sometimes went over to 1.5 at max.

I asked them to boost the upload frequency so that I can have a better upload and the techie resetted the router and I was stuck without internet for 3 days. Reason why is I could only get them to come out today, is because my work only allowed me to take an extra 30 lunch, never the less it happened.

I decided that im not going to take them on their 24 month contract because i was afraid that this is going to be the case scenario for the rest of the 24 months.

and Im taking the deal of the month from telkom. its Uncapped LTE running up to 90 mbps down and 25 mbps up

If i gave a rating out of 10 it would be 4/10 good customer service and fast response but lack on the service of the product. Not saying they are bad, but they have room for improvement !

I've been with them since August last year. Amazing!!!! That's all I can say.

I was one their 6Mbps (1199) package and it pretty much maxes at 5.99 Down and 0.99 Up. Got bumped up to their 8 Meg package and get about 7.98Mbps 0.99Mbps down and up respectively
 
Terrible Product & Terrible Service

I have been with them for over half a year, its all gone pear shaped in the last few months, and trying to get support or them to even notice is near impossible, 6mb uncapped line and I get 0.5mb down most the time or no connection at all.

I have been with many service providers in the different areas I have lived and Bsit is by far the worst, save yourself the hassle and money and rather go with another wireless provider or Telkom, yes I'm serious its that bad.

Can't play online games, can't do Youtube, can't work from home, its a pretty useless service to me, even basic browsing is pretty much a mission.

Being angry, being nice nothing works with them so I have decided to just stop paying, can't charge me for something I don't get contract or not.

Better choices like Bitco, or Level-7
 
I tried to subscribe to them, but they didnt even come to my house to do a site survey..
I was told that they know the "area".. and there is no LOS.. what a bunch of loosers..
