Yes, but the people will blame the taxi owners, as they will add their own markup as well.
I would like for the people to see a clear tax coming from the government, so they know who to blame
 
Anyone know when the income tax break comes into effect? Are all the changes due on the same day or is for instance the fuel levy increase a different date to the income tax saving?

Income tax adjustments are always for the tax year 1 March to 28 February so you should see the change with your March payslip.
 
But not on earnings.
In order to get financing, they should proof some kind of income which would mean they pay tax. But cash business, and who knows how clever their accountants are.
 
VAT is increased in 2 ways. The first is to increase the percentage VAT due on an amount. The second is to increase the cost of business input costs (like fuel, electricity etc..) that directly raises the cost of services and products to attract a larger VAT amount.

Consumers just cant catch a break.

Income tax changes are ALWAYS from the start of the new tax year ie 1 March. Fuel levy changes are ALWAYS from 1 April.
 
The Fooled you by not lifting vat and paye, but they hiked feul exponentially.

So you are worst off than before.

Fuel goes up, everything else go up, food, everything.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but according to my workings looks like I'm going to be paying more tax... According to the new tables... Is that just a normal annual adjustment?
