Bulls rock Thread

Hey. Jul mielieboere heti veel beter gespeel nie. Daar was fkl atmosfeer vir rugby by Vodacom Park. Sê my, hoekom was die pawiljoene so leeg? Het jul Bloemfonteiners actually beter goed gehad om te doen?
Anyways. Die 'quota' ref was ma erg deur die k@k.

They lost.

Hence it was the ref's fault!
The ref was terrable and he had no clue as to what was going on. Most of his call where seriously dodgy! The were a lot of indicents where he judged it was knock-on's where the ball was knocked back by a freestate player and awarded a scrum to the free-state but the biggest one was when the freestate wing touched the ball and it bounced back into his head while he was moving backwards and the ball just kept on moving back after it hit his head but it was called a knock-on. That was a shocker, because the ball landed about a metre behind the mark where it was first touched.

At the scrums he had no idea and Guthro knew that and took advantage. Not one sinlge scrum was Guthro sqaure before he engaged allowing him to get underneath his opposition and then emediately going up. He could've been penalised at every scrum but wasn't.

The scrum-half of the free-state was not on side at one single scrum. If he wasn't infront of the ball at the scrum, he fanned out. The ref was asked repeatedly to look at it, but he never did and the bulls never really got clean ball because of that.

There are a lot more that I can point out, but the ref was shocking and both teams struggled to any sort of rythm because the ref never allowed it.

Both teams can feel done by, but the cheetahs made the better of the ref and the were awarded with a win, but neither team really desreved to win since neither team really played good rugby.

No. Cheetahs were also pathetic. And ya, the "affirmative action" ref had to be consistantly guided by the assistant refs. It was pathetic.

If only they helped him more! At stages it was clearly visible that Marius Jonker wanted to help and say something but knew that it would only confuse to the two peanuts there is upstairs...

It was a pathetic game by both sides, with the cheetahs being the lesser pathetic side.

The ref was clueless but I doubt if that would have changed the outcome.

Good to hear we might be getting Chilliboy and Zane in for the next game.

(Also good to then have that spot open in the Springbok team :o)

What's this ......... I thought only us Sharks blamed the ref for a loss

:D

Where did I imply the ref? I merely pointed out mistakes the ref made on both sides. The ref had an impact on the game but I think the impact could be felt by both sides equally.

But that's all I ever do too and instantly the cries of blaming the ref arise .... that's why I came and poked fun about the pot calling the kettle black ;):D

(It disturbs me that so many inexperienced refs are ruining the CC overall .... that's what I point out)

They have to learn somewhere :)

Glad to see the bulls might have Potgieter, Kirschner and Chilliboy back :D

But we lose Steenkamp :(

Well we are not doing bad for a team where 8 of the players are still allowed to play for the U /21s ;):D
