Had a Whopper, like its said before, tastes just like a Big Mac. Very disappointing those patties are just sies.

After eating a Dukes burger all others pale in comparison.

The Big King tastes exactly the same as a Big Mac.

Bacon gave Burger King the edge overseas, but they've basically become another McDonalds franchise in SA by excluding bacon from their menu.

The burgers much better than mcdonalds IMO.

I think you are suffering from newness syndrome. Tastes very similar to me. In fact the only mainstream fast food joint that makes burgers worth talking about is Steers IMO. Not that it is always worth the effort.

If you think Mcdonalds and Burger King taste the same, I suggest you go brush your teeth.
It should taste similar, they both American style burgers.

that steers patty is horrible now. they must be including too much donkey in it or something. used to taste much better thsn it Is now. only redeeming feature is I can have bacon there.

Can you guys keep us updates on the queues? I wanna try them out, but once queues are down to a normal level.

before 10:45am (opens at 10) and after 20:30 is OK. According to the security guards managing the queues.

Our department is buying one for each of us for lunch on Monday so guess I can taste it without the nuisance of a queue or even cracking my wallet. That worked out nicely.

Bit surprised at the lack of interest for the Gauteng launch. Well, in this thread anyway.
