Burger King Review

Tim, thank you for the lovely and detailed review! Sorry I did not say thanks earlier.

Now, I have a question. Is all the drinks bottomless at BK? Or is it only for sitdown? I was just wondering, what if you order a small meal for take-away - is it still bottomless, or do you actually have to sit in the store? Then if it is bottomless, why then have a small / medium if you can drink as much coldrink as you want? How do they monitor if you are sit down / take away?
 
Also, if you order the whopper meal (medium) can you have it with a shake or do you have to take the k@k pepsi?

It is bottomless, no matter if you take away or sit down. I guess though that you cannot come back to refill once you have exit the restaurant. They have staff by the drinks fountain monitoring but I guess there is room for exploitation. What you can do is order take away, gulb down your drink and have another one (or two). But you need to fill the cup you brought (and not your own canister).

Yes you can have milkshake instead but there is a small surcharge (similar to McD).

MacGyver a BK Cup with a hole in it connected to some tubing at the bottom that goes through your trenchcoat sleeve and into a hidden resevoir in your backpack.

But seriously though, what stops someone from just ordering a burger and simply bringing his BK cup with him?

alot of people

but then he misses out on fries :p

and i cant eat a burger without fries
 
On the note of a BK Breakfast - I doubt they'll implement them before they open a non-Halaal store, too many meals with bacon.
Side note - I always found it funny that you can order "biscuits" as part of your meal in the States. I saw it at BK and Popeye's Chicken (Yes, it exists, not just in Little Nicky).

and i doubt any take away like mcds or kfc or even BK will have nice brekkie ...

i cant get myself to try the krap breakfast at mcds or kfc so even if BK had one ..i wont

we have spur which offers a very good brekkie for cheap ..not alota resturants can match spur

Funnily enough, I find the McD breakfast to be better than the burgers, but maybe it's because I love eggs and english muffins.

Brekkie, ah, that reminds me of my time in Aus. Those buggers were too lazy to say a full word if they could shorten it :D. As far as I know McDonalds has rebranded as Macca's in Aus.

C'mon dude, you can't go to Flamero's and not get the large chips... you eat that stuff for days! The only chips that taste as good cold.

and on the brekkie thing :D

haha i dont eat mcds burgers and the brekkie doesnt look appealing to me ...so i stay away

even the kfc egg on a roll just looks like i will choke from that

I can't handle cold/reheated chips from anywhere. I ordered the large chips the first time I went there and was shocked at how much I got. Very lekker chips...
