Burger King Review

Yeah I was surprised also, never went there, but I won a meal voucher in a competition. They're a defranchised Mochacho's if I'm right.

Pity the oke who defranchised the Steers (to Flamingo's) at the OK centre couldn't stay open. Those we're some of the nicest patties I've had, and Steers has become bland (at least the one at Waterstone Village).

Yep... it is a defranchised Mochachos. The SO threatened to get us burgers from there one night and I didn't say no. I was pleasantly surprised and have been back a few times since. Their chicken burgers are awesome but the beef burgers are pretty mediocre... Chips are fscking awesome :D

Yeah, but it's a chicken place, so you can't expect great beef. It's like ordering sirloin at Ocean Basket, salad at McD or fish at Cattle Baron. Unless you're a rebel who play by nobody's rule, including his own...

In the queue. Picked wrong one, clearly. White guy in his 40s in front of me starts asking about jobs. They tell him email CV. He asks his wife or whatever, how do you email? Is it expensive? Wtf?

What did you get this time? I'm hoping it's that crunchy chicken thing or the jalapeno burger? we still need pics of those!
 
Tim, I have to say I am in serious disagreement with you about the quality of the food at Burger King. Me and a friend went after work, and we stood in the queue for 45 mins. He ordered a Whopper meal with a choc shake, and I ordered the onion rings + nuggets and a strawberry and banana smoothy. The food was bitterly disappointing. We parked right next to BK, so not even 1 min walk. We got our food and went to the car, and the onion rings were ice cold and soggy, the nuggets were ice cold, and his chips was rock hard and cold! The whopper was also cold. There was no sauces in the bag, no napkins or anything, just the food chucked into the bag. He was pissed off LOL!! So yes, I don't think BK will see me again. Food is way below par, and definitely not worth standing in a queue for.

Give it another go sometime in the future and see if they have improved.
 
I had th following.

Double Whopper with cheese king size meal.

9 onion rings.

It was another perfect burger. A+
Fries were great. Crispy and hot A
Onion rings were good, not crispy enough this time. Only a B
For drink I found the perfect mixture, 50% Pepsi, 30% Mirinda and 20% 7up. Try it.

I asked my friend what he thought of the burger, and he said it tasted like a watered down quarter pounder deluxe. He said the bun was stale, and the burger was all in all very mediocre. He said Mc Donalds burger and fries are better quality. I don't think I will go back anytime soon, I am not a fast food person, and to be honest, the food was a bit of a let down.

I did not see the burger, as he went home and ate it there. He would not lie. If I judge the quality of the onion rings and the cheesy nuggets, well, I would not be surprised at all. It was really a big let down, after all the wait.
