Burger King Review

Had a whopper 2 days ago, still the best item on the menu, had a steakhouse and the quality has dropped a lot but their whopper is the flagship and never disappoints.

Compared even to a Spur burger, which is not great these days and expensive, a Whopper meal isn't bad value.

I think it's like R45 for a large whopper and bottomless drink. Bladdy good deal if you ask me. Had one last week. Very impressed. I dropped McDonald's 2 years ago and this makes a great, if not better substitute

Pffft, if no Steers is nearby and I cannot find a KFC then it falls to either McDonalds or Burger King depending on which is more convenient. For what you get it really isn't worth comparing the two, both equally hopeless.

Honestly I thought with all the Burger King hype that they were going to be comparable/better than Steers, but as we all know: there is only one KING!

True. It's kark that's never even been rated and why there is any excitement about it here now is beyond me.

Now if popeyes with their hot roast sandwich were to open here...

Until then my once or twice a week junk food binge belongs to steers or nandos.

Actually just saw this and remembered...

Had Burger King this weekend at the Pavilion.
I would say that at best its on a par with McD's... The mayonnaise used was bland as all hell, the patty was dry, the chips were crap... the only good thing was the bottom less pepsi.

Also, management at the Pavilion branch are useless. There was a queue out into the food court, but one teller was closed and had been for 15 minutes (at least), when we pointed it out to him he said it was due to shift change. He didn't like it when I pointed out that his shift changes need to be made more seamless since 15 minutes shows just how useless his processes are.

Your feedback must have been rewarded with the old food.

I'd hardly call nandos junk food. Just saying.

BK just gives you another option so we go there cos it adds variety to our healthy lifestyle. /sarcasm on the last bit.

Keen to try Hatfield one as it's a bit closer to home without having to do a burger king road trip lol

Hatfield one is very clean and big... service is excellent and management is always on site...no complaints from me (yet)...
