That's not cheap for me and definitely does the job. Admittedly it is getting long in the tooth, compile times on my desktop are a lot faster, but it's fast enough that it doesn't matter for my size projects.
Trouble is they don't have any guarantee that the quality of the equipment is up to scratch. It's basically a work laptop IMO but you get to keep it if you stay with the firm x months perhaps...

I dont understand. High quality people?

The people they hired (linkedin speculation here , but timelines line up) both had less than a year of real world experience. One was an intern and one was a junior developer. I'd love to see what "80% were of quality" means given whom they ended up hiring.

650 in the first week only of which 80% were high quality and they hired 2.

Where did they get time for 520 high quality application interviews?

You know a company is cheapskate when they use a PC as bait for your to apply for the job. What about you just give better salaries so I can get a PC, Fibre, House, Car, RA and Medical aid! Cheapskates!

Codehesion is well known for producing world-class mobile apps
What apps have they made that is world class?

I only found one app on the play store with a 1-star rating.
