Calling all S3 and ICS users!

I've had my s3 for one week now and must say I impressed each time I use it its almost too good, got so many function, Smart stay and S Voice need some tweaking, heard they are working on an update on that

I just have a few problems that I hope you ICS users can help me out with:

1- Play store images don't load just says couldn't load screenshot's, my friends S2 running ICS has the same problem

2- Video hub does not load just says server not found, I understand that maybe its not available in SA yet, but then why did vodacom give me a R100 video hub voucher witch expires end of June?

3- S suggest opens but then quickly closes again with a pop up saying error occurred while connecting to server, try again later

Further I really can not complain, good battery life, great screen, super fast, UI is very pleasing to work with it lives up to its name "Designed for humans"

Please go into your APN settings. Make sure that APN is set to "internet" without the quotes. Remove everything else such as proxy servers etc. Everything must be blank except for the APN. Save..and check if it works. Please report back.

I have a S2 {ICS Stock} an playstore images load fine for me.

Judging by this thread over at XDA it's a vodacom problem seems the solution is the same as the post above quite a few people are reporting success so I would give it a try.

As for point three I believe you have to be connected to the internet {wi-fi or 3g} to use S Voice just like Siri perhaps you are doing this and it still isn't working??

Yep, same here on my S2, had to remove all the proxy settings from the Vodacom APN to get everything working.

I tried changing my APN settings but all was removed. Tried downloading play store again with no succes

I then tried getting vodacom to resend my internet settings but they can't identify my device, perhaps they don't have s3 internet settings yet

That mite explain my videohub and s suggest problems

Got it working thanks, just restarted device after proxy removal

s suggest and videohub works now

Still playing around but most of the features works fine. Too many functions to master in such a quick period.
Also had the video-hub issue. Must be a Vodacom hiccup. Will try again today.

Had the same problem on the play store with images not loading but haven't given the other apps a try yet. Will do so today and if same problem occurs will try occies solution. Thanks...

To change lock screen icons go to settings-security-lockscreen icons and tap on short cuts
