I konw this is not really Mac related, but I am going to upload the pictures in iTunes - fair? :D

bwana, more a question for you, being into photography. I'm looking for rechargablea AA battries that can deliver their charge rather rapidly. I used to have two batteries that were just grey - didn't have a name or any marking on, so I have no idea what they were. Using them my flash used to be ready for the next shot very very quickly. All other batteries seem to take forever to deliver the power.

What specification do I need to look for? I have no idea what I'm looking at.

Thanks

I'm a big fan of the UniROSS HYBRIO range - http://www.hybriousa.com/ They're pretty much all I use these days in my flash and battery pack. Pretty inexpensive too.

BTW - iPhoto does a much better job than iTunes. :)

I've spent too much times sorting out album art in iTunes lately :p

Hmm, even better:

[ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Uniross-2700mAh-Rechargeable-Battery-Ni-Mh/dp/B000IZJ39Q/ref=sr_1_3/026-8722070-4439641?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1192118268&sr=1-3"]Amazon.co.uk: Uniross AA 2700mAh (4) Rechargeable Battery Ni-Mh: Electronics & Photo: UNIROSS[/ame]

Strangely, I don't find anything with a higher rating than that.

The 2100ma Hybrio's seem to perform as well as if not better than the other, higher 2700ma, ones and they can happily sit around without losing their charge - [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Uniross-Hybrio-AA-2100mAh-Batteries/dp/B000KG5G5I/ref=sr_1_4/202-4795776-4291015?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1192125494&sr=1-4"]Amazon.co.uk link[/ame]

I looked at those but i wasn't sure what they were. Too late now - I've already orderd the 2700mAh ones. That should do though.

I am with bwana re the hybrios (couple of battery threads where it has also been discussed). Currently using them in my Wireless Mighty Mouse, Canon 430EX flash, Canon A540 mik-'n-druk and as backup for my EOS20D's battery grip.
