Cameron: Muslims must integrate

How many South Africans speak N|uu or !Xû ??

The rules were different 400 years ago. The colonists took the land through supperior technology and force which was the way things worked for everyone those days.

If black Africans wanted to not be colonized they should have developed more advanced technologies, learned to build ocean going ships, developed an appetite for exploration and navigation then expanded more than the Europeans. Instead, other than a very small timeframe when the people of present day Zimbabwe there was stagnation instead.

How many countries are still ruled by colonial powers today?

Have you started learning Mandarin yet?

The colonialists still rule, one only has to look at the USA and Australia.

We are only witnessing reverse colonialism now, Cameron can try to fight it like the natives did 400 years ago, nothing will stop it, the most popular dish in the UK is already curry.

Are you sure about that?

have you seen whats been happening in america, the mexicans populate most of the western part of the US

Australia also battling with immigration issues, all the colonialists are fleeing South Africa, what more evidence do I really need?

With control over the borders, he could completely stop it if he wanted to. Just shut the borders and not renew some kinds of visas.

That won't happen because there would be a public outcry, but he could do it if wanted to.

That is the difference between this and colonialism - Cameron and the government are still in control and can stop the influx of new people at any time they want. Yes some illegals will get in, but that is it.

how many white people in South Africa speak an African language?
The vast majority.

exactly, it is stupid logic, yet Cameron applies it and people (edit: colonialists) agree with him
Colonialism ended in the mid 20th century and even that wasn't real colonialism any longer towards the end. If there are any significant numbers of colonialists left alive today I'd like to know their secret.

ah yes, colonialists create a language thats now an african language, makes sense
It was born in Africa. It is an African language by any relevant standard I can think of.

Don't be one of those racist pricks that says you can't be African unless you're black. I was born here, I've lived my entire life here. I'm African regardless of how much melanin is in my skin. Some of my distant ancestors may not have been born in Africa but I've never met a single one of them, they were all long dead before me. I'm African. Anyone that says any different can take a leap.

ah yes, colonialists create a language, based predominantly on a colonialist language, and now its considered an african language, makes sense

Go to Europe and speak Afrikaans, and tell me how many people can understand you.

Oh and tell me if Swahili is an African language.

Doesn't really matter where its roots were. It have diverged so far from that root that it is now a separate language. It is a language of Africa, not Europe.

It is a language only spoken locally in our region of the world, pretty much nowhere else. If it doesn't belong here, if it isn't South African, there where does it belong? I can't think of a more correct way to describe it than African. It certainly isn't European, the only people over there that speak it are people that have gone over from South Africa.
