What did these colonised cultures have to offer Europeans that they should have adopt their cultures?

I'm not a colonialist and I speak it. I've never captured a single slave and carted him/her back to Europe. I've definitely never gone to some other okes country, shot him, and nicked everything. I was born here, I grew up here, I've known pretty much no other country but this one just as my parents did before me and their parents before them and such. What criteria do you use for the term "colonialist"? ... pale skin? Some of their ancestors are from Europe?... are coloureds colonialists? What exactly is your objective standard? Exactly how many generations do my descendants need to live in this country before you stop referring to this land, the only land I've ever known, as foreign to me?

It was a language created by people who made the Southern top of Africa their home. Just as the Zulus and other African groups came from north and made this are their home too. It is as much an African language as the others being spoken around here. Your criteria for separating these languages seem somewhat arbitrary.

Oh don't get me wrong I'm white. I'm just not a colonialist. If there are any colonialists left alive at this point the major pharmaceutical corporations of the world probably want to have a word with them about how they're still around.

I don't actually think you are indian, it was a joke in response to shauns post saying he might not have ended up being a beggar but carry on with the bigot & islamaphobe labels ;)
