Cameron: Muslims must integrate

Because you are confused? I'm not the one that said you could have been a beggar on the streets in india, I replied to that comment.

Thank you kindly.

I asked the question to the person who made the assertion but you felt it necessary to respond.

I'm still waiting for the Islamophobe term that I throw around, wheres the evidence?

so wait, you have credibility?
I think my argument does for sure. Which is what matters. You've yet to counter a single point as far as I can see while I've addressed all of yours.

judging from your signature no matter what I say or do, I will never gain any credibility in your eyes so continue to speak as if I care what you say
Oh I definitely already thought you were a bit of a joke walking into this. Despite that I've still shown you a basic level of respect I afford to all people. I've taken the time to consider your argument instead of simply dismissing you and placing you on the ignore list. I've identified some flaws.

I imagine you're just trolling right now unfortunately. I can't imagine anybody would be foolish enough to throw the term colonialist around as flippantly as the ANC is now throwing around the term "racist". The way you speak seemingly of white folks as though they're foreigners, invaders, "colonialists" etc., the way you talk of a language created in this country as though it belongs elsewhere and is foreign, as though it doesn't belong here, it sows division in us all as people. I've known nothing but this country my whole life, so have my parents, my parent's parents etc.. I'm not a foreigner. I'm not a colonialist. This is my home and it breaks my heart to see people trying to tear her people apart as you're doing. You may think this is harmless trolling but I feel that if even one person reads your comments and feels them ring true then you've done this country a disservice.

I didn't use the word "white" specifically because I was initially referring to colonialists in general, but thanks for thinking that I was actually referring to white.

As for me tearing this country apart? LOL what a joke, as funny as the Islamophobe joke and you thinking I think your intentions are sincere when engaging me.

You're right, you never really did mention what makes someone a colonialist despite being asked on more than 1 occasion. Care to elaborate?

You've basically dismissed all of Afrikaner culture as not African (after all, if the language can't be considered African then how can the entire culture that developed alongside that language within that same group of people). Seems like your views undermine the unity of this country to me.

It followed my post, usually when a question follows a post in a vast number of post you assume it's for you. It's not that hard to simply quote a post for clarity.

Ok, you can strike islamaphobe for now & I'll just attribute the constant use of bigot to you then.

sure my views are tearing the country apart, sue me

I'm still waiting for someone to show me where I used the term islamaphobe

so you made an assertion with no evidence but I'm the one with credibility issues

someone suggested I'm an indian, I'm not an indian, that person is a bigot in my view

you have no idea what my overall views are, you see thats the problem with bigots- they see one piece of information and create their own story by filling in the blanks with their own "credible" information.
I can't see how one can objectively dismiss Afrikaans as a non African language and then say Afrikaner culture is African. Those are 2 stances clearly at odds with one another. It logically follows from what you've said already that your stance is that Afrikaner culture is not African.

Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken... and in that case good luck trying to convince us that those stances aren't contradictory.

Waste of effort. I'll settle for pointing out the flaws in your stance to the point at which you're unable to respond thereby saving the reader from inferring from your stance that all cultures other than those of black South Africans don't belong.

Worse that Britain is somehow still some colonial monster brutalising lands it has no business abusing.

So anyway in short dear readers please consider what has been said here for yourselves. I ask that you exercise caution when throwing out the word colonialist as a perjorative as saturnz appears to enjoy doing. It is potentially quite dangerous, not just for our relationships as South Africans with folks from other countries, but also for our relationships with each other. We're a wonderful diverse country of amazing cultures and I'd hate to see us all fighting needlessly.

Don't let racial hatreds based on things that happened between our ancestors consume you, there is plenty of common ground to be found today.

Jesus, this thread has turned into a trollfest pretty quick. What was the original topic again? Oh yes, integration.

yeah point out how my views are tearing this country apart and forget about how the predominantly afrikaaner led government tore this country apart previously. Do you think my views were created out of thin air? other people forget, I don't.

but my views are more important than the legacy created by the predominantly afrikaaner government.

you go african boy, show us how your views bring this country together

The Muslim thing is inferred from your participation in other threads.

The car thing is all 1991 CoTY, baby.

ah yes, like it was inferred I was liberally using the terms bigot and Islamaphobia, I get it now

A reasonable observation by Cameron.
Now what is he going to really do about it?

If I were him I'd order my immigration branch to do pop English language tests and UK trivia questions on random immigrants in the streets. If they fail, they go home on the next plane.

Finished and klaar.
