Can Fibre Providers reuse the same CTE / ONT?

In our area I have three fibre providers available to me (yes, they dug up the verge, my driveway and every water pipe in the street three times).

I'm currently with Vumatel and have zero issues but I'm eyeing OpenServe purely because they're considerably cheaper.

So my question is, if I were to switch from one to the other, would OpenServe to be able to reuse the existing installation (from verge to my house) or would they need to come do their own installation? (Ie. I'd have two boxes?)

Two boxes from what I understand, when you change between FNO's. The boxes and ONTs remain the property of the FNO.

Drat that's what I suspected. Thanks for the confirmation!

Each fibre provider will run their own fibre and install their own termination point and ONT. They can't share this.

Openserve is usually Aerial but they have trenched areas. If your Openserve fibre in the area is trenched then yes they will unfortunately trench to install their own.
