Changing settings on CMD

check your pc's ip setting by running ipconfig from the command line. You need to ensure that your local network setting is in the 10.0.0 range. try setting it to a manual setting of 10.0.0.100, gateway 10.0.0.2 dns 10.0.0.2

You don't.

You go to network settings and change the IPv4 settings

To set IP:
netsh interface ip set address name=”Local Area Connection” static 10.0.0.100 255.255.255.0 10.0.0.2

To Set DNS:
netsh interface ip set dns name=”Local Area Connection” static 10.0.0.2

Are you sure your router is on 10.0.0.2?
