So it looks like I might have stuffed up the fresnel focusing screen of my EOS 750D a bit, and now some "streaks" or "scratches" appear when looking through the viewfinder. I suppose the damage is not too bad as it doesn't affect anything other than looking through the viewfinder - so I know it's not lens and sensor dirt, but at some point I would like to get the issue fixed. Are there any camera stores in the Centurion area that handles DSLR cleaning and or repairs? Does anyone have an idea of what it would cost to replace the focusing screen?

+1 for Cameratek, they're official canon agents. Excellent service and all round good guys.

I've recently had my Canon 450D repaired at Cameratek and I am exceptionally happy with their service.

How long have you worked there?

I work for bidvest data and use my 450D for skydiving.

I am happy to post my invoice/job card for the repairs tonight when I get home.

P.s. Don't be a **** just be lekker !
