Cant enter BIOS with any keyboard

Hi all,

So i reinstalled my driver last week and seems that bugged everything out.

I can't enter my bios with my keyboard anymore, it seems to come on only when windows loads.

Things i tried
- Another keyboard
- Different USB port
- Reinstalling drivers again
- CMOS removed for few seconds
- Holding in the Del or F2 key while booting
- No USB 2.0 on this board so that can't happen, only 3.0 and 3.1

This is irritating the hell out of me, i checked google PLAT but can't find anything relevant to my scenario ...

Please if anyone knows what to do, would be great!

My motherboard is a Asrock extreme4 z270

You probably have fast boot enabled in uefi bios, asrock should have a windows utility to disable it on the next boot.

Select your OS and download Restart to UEFI ver:1.0.5

You might also want to disable windows fast startup somewhere in your windows power settings.

Only reason I knew was because I had exactly the same issue about 2 weeks ago when I wanted to do a fresh OS install on my msi motherboard, I was swearing

I also had this bladdy plague, Googled the hell out of it and fiddled forever but couldn't work out what it was, eventually I decided to reset the bios from Windows using a Lenovo bios utility. That reset the bios boot to legacy mode which meant F12 enter bios etc worked again, then I switched to Uefi mode and promptly caused the same issue again, then the penny dropped.

Why isn't there some built in functionality to access the bios/F12 when using UEFI/quick boot?
