Anyone know why we have such windy weather here down in the Cape for this time of the year?

Is it normal or just a strange weather pattern?

I can't find anything on Google.

Normal for this time. The next week looks good. It's summer so the wind are here.

The kids are bored and the beach is our cheapest option for entertainment for them. It's not nice taking a walk at Strand or Gordons Bay and getting some sand in your mouth while talking. Or having a sand crisp ice cream.

While it is nice and windy in Cape Town you should be happy. Once the wind stops...the unbearable heat waves start. With the Eskom rolling loadshedding...your aircon won't help you. I personally like and prefer the wind, makes for a very very nice summer in Cape Town.

Wonderland at n1 city? Amusement center at Somerset mall? I rarely venture near to strand or gordon's bay until late afternoon this time of year anyways. The traffic has become a nightmare going there. My daughter loves the water though so my hand might be forced.

We've been to N1 City Wonderland last week. The trip cost me close to R700 which included Milky Lane, X - rider and games.

Try Long Street indoor pool. Costs like R5 a kid entrance fee. No wind to bother anyone. Take along some goodies to eat and drink.

Not unusual at all. Weather wise December is a rather topsy-turvy time.
