You'll have to explain what you mean, by this, Brian_G.
What, on God's great, green earth, is '
a moral balance with a BoRs'?
Sometimes you're like one of these by-the-book scholars, I refuse to believe you really don't understand the concept of bad human judgement / manipulation / foresight affecting how good a BoR is or isn't, and especially if it covers all groups' needs.
Anyway, who's got the time..
You didn't answer the question.
How does "
you need a moral balance with BoRs" relate to the fact an ambiguous Constitution turns any BoRs into not worth the paper its written on.
As I explained earlier, an ambiguous supreme law code leads to the practice of arbitrary adjudication, which invites corruption.
You keep implying that corruption is
inevitable regardless of whether you - by paying attention - learn from history/your mistakes.
That has to be the most apathetic thing I've ever heard.
Or are you just projecting your own low-bar?
See link, again :
The "religious" aspects of this war by Israel should not be underestimated.
As nuts as that sounds, when everything about the war doesn't make sense and those who started it cannot offer a sensible explanation ,then expect that there might actually be none!!!!
It's all rooted in something so insane that hardly anyone would consider it
Here's my theory....
I think it boils down to the adoption of the presumption of what you might call
hyper (Biological) materialism. That's where an individual doesn't have the answer as to the origins of mankind as a species, and...
(you liked the post but apparently didn't read it.)
Remember the
heating-up-milk analogue I gave you... shall I remind you? Here it is again....
@Brian_G
I don't know if you drink tea with hot milk. But if the formula for heating up the milk safely is "so much heat and time, and no more", then just because you put the milk jug on the stove and turn it on doesn't mean that you can walk away and not come back for the next 8 hours.
You heated up the milk but you only applied the formula to a limited extent, or incorrectly.
When you get back from work and your house is burnt down, you turn to your neighbors and say I knew it.... where does heating milk up on the stove safely exist practically? There is no example of it working...
It's as though you think there is nothing that anyone, who burns the milk, can do to prevent from burning it again... and again ... and again.... ad infinitum.
Really? Are you sure you live in the real world? I only see a tiny sliver of intractables, who are btw
vastly outnumbered. And what gives them their mass influence is the habit on the part of otherwise decent people to underestimate their own abilities.
Chin up.... habits can be broken and better ones formed.
