You know they need ppl not to use GB to cover the ppl who do use em already.

got capped for the first time yesterday.This is so crap!!!!!!!!!! My helkom prepaid line is quicker than this.
 
Ummm huys honestly it isnt that bad... Yes it is slow and all but it is much better than ADSL cap, and that is the honest truth...I get my 8-9kB/s and at the end of the day I am pretty happy. Yes i would love my 100kB/s + but this is SA, and we do have telkom... so cant really ask for too much.

Right there with you craigsa.This whole weekend has been the absolulte crappest service i have ever seen.most times i could'nt even load my local homepage.i think the last time i experianced something like this ,i was using 14,4k modem about 20years ago.

Seems a little better tonight but 64k it aint not!!!!!!!!

You are assuming that everyone has precisely the same capped experience as yourself - clearly an incorrect assumption - we are not all using the same base-station - so base-station contention is going to be a big reason for one customer experiencing true 64kbps while another experiences sub-64kbps, and we don't all have the same signal quality...;)

As i said before , if this is 64K then my modem must be running at 10M/sec !! How can a modem run faster than my iburst ? It cant thats how !!

Ok also true IC. But apparently WBS was promising guaranteed 64kB/s... no contention should be involved here. Unless they are lying, which is also very possible. Signal quality here is good (usually full, sometimes becoming unstable and jumping around 3 LED's).
