On my way back to Nelspruit, this afternoon, I stopped at Alzu for some refreshments and you know what. I got out and tried to lock the vehicle with the remote. As I got accustomed to do, I checked if it was locked. It was not. I tried again to lock without success. I started looking around to see if I could spot anyone possibly jamming my remote signal. I did not see anyone. After couple of more failed attempts to lock the vehicle, I walked around the vehicle only to find the left rear door was open. I closed it and then locked the vehicle successfully. I thought about it and did not understand how it could have been left open as the chime would have warned me. The only possible option was that someone opened it as I got out. When I got home, I checked the dashcam footage and I am sure the guy in the footage opened the door as I closed my side. So quick and with the correct timing that prevented me from hearing the other door open. I was travelling alone. I checked the footage as I parked and the guy was nowhere to be seen. He also did not return to the vehicle from the front while I was parked. From the sound recording, one can hear when I closed my door and a split second after the rear door being opened to prevent the locking of the vehicle.
If I did not check if it was actually locked, I am sure I would have had some stuff missing from my vehicle when I returned, i.e. laptop that was on the floor behind the drivers seat.
