Need a second hand car but not sure which brands are reliable. Don't have a big budget unfortunately. Anything in particular I should look into? So many cars...

e36 BMWs are in my view the most undervalued in the under 50k bracket.

You can get a very good condition 328i for just under 50k and the other models for much less.

Parts are easily available and not expensive. A complete engine you can purchase for under 10k.

What about the COTY 1991?

What's it for? Just yourself, or a family? You want performance, fuel consumption, reliability? There are a ton of factors to consider what's 'best'.

For just you, commuting to work needing low fuel consumption:
2007 Fiesta
2006 Micra

Just you, wanting performance:
E36 325i
200gxi Sabre

Family sedan:
2003 Camry/Corolla
2005 Jetta

Thanks guys. Need it for work, so low fuel consumption is key.

Don't buy anything from Wayne Motors - Eugene Wayne, you have been warned:
