Car Wrap

There are people who wrap their vehicles to protect the paint work and then sell them after a few years at a great loss anyway?
Am I the only one who thinks this is a daft idea?
Exactly. Loads of money for what?

For me the greatest car rap has to be the 1993 hit - Dr. Dre f/ Snoop Dogg, Ruben & Jewell "Let Me Ride" (1993)

Everybody wants to ride when you're one of the biggest rappers in the game and you're driving the freshest old-school whip your hood has ever seen. On “Let Me Ride,” Dre does Cali car culture the right way and raps about hitting switches and riding on Daytons.

As you would expect, Dre tossed in a few lines about doing some extracurricular activities that law enforcement may not have looked upon too highly, but gangster movements aside, the good doctor delivered a classic car record.

Lemme get this right. You buy a car to wrap it in vinyl in order to get a presumed better resale price? Why buy anything you like then if the realse is what you are after? I gather you either have already, or are wanting to plastic wrap the seats too. Maybe your house chairs are like that? I usually buy stuff for my enjoyment, seeing as i worked hard for it and it's mine. A respray, or even a touch up at sales time will be far cheaper.

Why not PlastiDip? It can be applied by anyone, my boss did his car a few weeks ago and it came out looking like a pro job. It's incredibly forgiving, and if you don't like it you can very easily peel it off. You don't HAVE to cover lights, etc when spraying - just go around the light with a knife and peel away.
