Caravan/Backup power advice needed

With a Caravan system. Good and reliable brands is a must as mentioned in the previous posts. You dont want to go cheap on this and have a failure or worse, Caravan crying in flames.

Get someone that has good knowledge on installing the system so they can have it DC to DC coupled with your alternator so while you are driving, the battery can still be charged even if there is no sunlight.
I like the charging from alternator idea, very nice if that is possible!

Could you kindly recommend a load shedding solution for a gaming pc (650W-700W peak draw)?

Those okes at powersolutions.co.za are smoking ganja...R17k for a 1000W setup.

Just a decent battery alone will cost you that amount.
Never mind the inverter and and.

You can buy cheaper but gonna cost you more over time.

Thank Eskom.

Not sure if this includes battery but should cover you for 2 hours:

What does 12V have to do with 100A?

100A @ 48V will use the same cable thickness as 100A @ 12V.
Yes, but context. This is for a caravan, and some are talking about reticulation from the alternator which would easily be in excess of 5m, plus the hitch and caravan, so add another 3-4m, may as well make it 10 overall. Will you use the same thickness regardless of length, and how would you mitigate voltage drop?
