The Carnivore Diet, occasionally referred to as the Zero Carb Diet, exclusively permits the consumption of animal products. Consequently, vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and starches are all excluded from the diet. While dairy products are generally allowed, some individuals following this diet choose to avoid them due to the presence of lactose, a type of sugar. The r/zerocarb subreddit, a thriving community of 49,000 members, succinctly defines the diet as follows: "Our diet consists solely of meat and animal products, with no reliance on plant-based sources for nutrients or calories. While certain animal products contain carbohydrates, such as dairy, the majority of these are considered acceptable."

My appologies for the long video, but I found it very interesting.

Anyone here on it?

Hang on..... so you have to trade fruit and veg for tripe, or get scurvy?

Does not seem so. It is covered in the vid. From what I understand, the body actually needs less vitamin c when on this diet because glucose which competes with vit c through some transport mechanism is eliminated or something like that. And with the lower requirement of vit c by the body the vit c that is found in the meat (not organs) should suffice.

I'm thinking I should try this. I am already pretty close to it. I would just need to cut out the remaining veggies I eat and add liver. Maybe beef liver. And fish.

This is the diet Jordan Peterson and his daughter are on
