If you cut out sugar and bread, 90% of your battle is won. Don't have to go extremes like Carnivore, vegetarian.

Extremes are good as therapeutic treatments for certain conditions, or as diagnostic tools i.e. elimination diets. If you cut out sugar and bread, 90% of your battle is won. Don't have to go extremes like Carnivore, vegetarian.
Agee, but I would add all refined carbs and seed oils to the list of things to cut out.If you cut out sugar and bread, 90% of your battle is won. Don't have to go extremes like Carnivore, vegetarian.
Mental health? Man you go into depression eating Carnivore and keto. Same thing every day. The most boring diet there is. Just meat and eggs, and maybe the odd selective veg if you on keto/banting.Agee, but I would add all refined carbs and seed oils to the list of things to cut out.
Why not go carnivore if it helps with autoimmune connections, mental health, and general well-being?

No problem if you do it a few months to loose weight, but to keep eating boring like that, never. Could just as well stop living.
The biggest reason people loose weight on Carnivore is because it becomes a hassle to take time to make something every meal that is just the same as every other day. So they start skipping meals. So essentially they are just doing intermitted fasting.
Oh, so it isn’t the increase in fat burning mitochondria, the decrease in fat storing insulin spikes, increased energy expenditure due to decreased inflammation (also a cause of depression) and increased nutrient intake, improved liver due to not being clogged up by fructose, decreased hunger pangs due to stable blood sugar levels, ….Mental health? Not to mention your gut internal biome and micronutrient intake must be a mess. The list of vitamins required to be healthy doesn't stop at B12Mental health? Which vitamins can you not get on a carnivore diet? Not to mention your gut internal biome and micronutrient intake must be a mess. The list of vitamins required to be healthy doesn't stop at B12
....at the risk of inciting a religious war hereI've said it before... I don't care about food. Would eat kibble if it was healthy. Waste of fekking time and money. So blerry unproductive
Carnivore has got simplicity going for it. Make a beeline in the store. Stick the steak in the oven or fryer... done.
....at the risk of inciting a religious war hereand yes there is probably some obscure and gross way of gettin these from animal sources such as uncooked whale liver - a handful of spinach is far more practicle for everyone involved
There are some nutrients you just can’t get from meat
You need 13 vitamins in order to live, and though you can actually get most of them from eating a variety of meats, you’re going to miss out on some crucial ones if you totally forego flora. Folate, along with vitamins C and E, pretty much only come from veggies, mostly green leafy ones and citrus. This is why sailors used to get scurvy—not enough vitamin C in their largely fish- and other-meat-based diets. Plus, if you don’t get enough vitamin E your body can’t use vitamin K as well, so even though you’re getting enough from fish, liver, and beef you won’t actually be able to make use of it.
Well done!32kg down.
Have slowly added back a bit of occasional cheese. Also allow myself some almonds, macadamia's and Lindt 85% on weekends.
Still buying bulk ribeye 5-7kg's at a time and not tired of it in the slightest.
Smashing Woolworths fashion vouchers when available to slowly replace my oversized wardrobe.
I don't pay much attention to it, usually just eat until I'm full. How much protein do you guys eat per kg of lean body mass? And do you do any moderate or intense strength training to go with it?
