Carolina Reaper chilli.

Thanks to this thread, I have bought some Snotklap on Friday. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Yesterday I found Ghost Chilli seeds at Builder's in Fourways for R28 a packet so I bought some. I forgot that I bought a packet of Trinidad Moruga Scorpion seeds in a market in Italy when I was there on business in May. Going to try and get a few to germinate from each batch.

So anyhow a few have started flowering finally!!

Here I am babying my Carolinas and was in fruit and veg and picked up a bag of regular chilis - around 3kg at least for only R15.00 - somebody somewhere has grown a **** load of regular chilis.

want to swop one of those carolinas? i went away and mine all died. have loads of other varieties!

They not all carolinas and at the moment they all look alike - I used to have them marked but that was too much effort. They are a mixture of various hot types such as 7p, ghost, habaneros and carolina....I suppose some will be hybrids now as well.
 
Anybody in CPT got an extra reaper that they'd like to swop? i went away for a while and lost my reaper. I have 7pot, aji lemon, rocoto, nagalah, red savina, peach scotch bonnet, ghost / bhut jolokia and a few others

I never posted anything about the Snotklap sauce.

Well, firstly, dealing with Lourens from Chilihead was a pleasure. He even chucked in a little packet of seeds for me.

Anyway, back to the sauce. Phuque me but it's hot. A few weeks back, I put some on a slice of pizza and then accidentally got some on my cheek. That spot burnt for an hour afterwards.

It's extremely hot, but used in the right quantity, adds a nice heat and flavour to a dish. Would recommend!
 
Good day all. I joined My Broadband purely for reply to this thread... That said, we want to have a chili challenge at work and I'm having a hard time getting my hands on some Carolina Reapers and Ghost Peppers. Seeing as every internet search that I have done so far has included this thread, here I am seeking the expert's help.
