Hi there

We have received numerous complaints about personal attacks in the sport forum. The mods are inundated with complaints and it has made this forum less fun than what it should be. This will no longer be tolerated. Any personal attacks or name calling will result in an immediate sport forum ban.

This is a great forum and we can not allow a few guys to destroy it for the rest of the guys…

rpm - can you please delete the necessary posts in The Gooner Thread that you closed and reopen it?

It's not fair to those of us who were trying to have a decent discussion.
 
Why are people taking it so far, yes, joke around here and there, but to actually keep on attacking???

Well Stormers vs Sharks ones were enjoyable, and in good spirit.
We'll see again next year.

Just the soccer hooligans I noticed were naughty.

All I ask is that the mods do some pro-active modding as the ones handing out the insults are the ones hitting the report button constantly.

I have no problem with this. If it is the case. Which, thus far, it has not been.

I did the reporting, yes. As I told you I would. The forum rules are simple. As the mods have reinforced, either follow them or get out. It's .like that on all forums on the net. Not sure where the confusion comes in.
 
You have no shame. I like the way Supa caught you out last night by caching your comments! Telling us how sad it is the Chelsea thread got deleted, but you were the one who got it deleted.

You fake man. We just come here to talk football, and cos nobody agrees with you or the debate isnt going the way you want it to. We laugh it off, but not you - you go run and hit the report button.

Now we faced with bigger problems.

Thats been the problem on this forum and you can ask any non-manu supporter, its been this attitude of "if you dont agree with us you must get out"

Thats what has made this section become what it has.

I did not get the Chelsea thread closed. Look at my posts in there. I said I was happy it was there because then you guys could keep your chat confined in that section, but things still managed to get out of hand anyway.

I saw the cached comments. Not sure what you mean by that. I know what i said cos I said it. And meant it.

The forum is a better place without trolls. We have managed quite well in here for two years, without the need for trolls, so I think we will manage just fine from now on as well.

AC Milan supports - No
Liverpool supporters - No
Barca supporters - No
Arsenal supporters - No

Hehe, you don't seem to understand. Opnions are welcomed on here. Personal attacks and trolling are not.

How many more times do I have to say this? If in doubt, ask a mod for clarification or go and read the rules again. It's all there man.

Your comment in that section was to call everyone trolls on your first post not "keep your chat confined in this section"
 
I do not want to post in here again. I fear that the mods will soon close the footy threads in the sports section altogether or resort to banning certain users. bans would be fine, but to lose the section just because of the innapropraite behaviour of a certain few, is not.
