The modems we are selling is 900mhz ready....but I have old models still pre 900mhz 3G

I also hope that Telkom Mobile comes in at a lower price than Do3G...
Any way we will find out, I think in september.
can't really use the 2100mhz modems, very few areas will have 2100mhz coverage.

mmm now im a little confused. U sure this is the modem Cell C will be using. According to the Huawei website, this modem supports 3G in the 2100mhz band only?

E1820 100% percent sure this one and another white version, not sure what make it is.

Im proud to say I was the first person to find out about 3G while Cell C was just testing it out and left a clue on speedtest.net last year. I started a post: people said I was mad, lmao, that speedtest was broken.
Today I got myself an HSPA device and guess what? Im picking them up! Access is up and down: getting kicked out now and again even with my Cell C sim.
Well I know I did something worth it in the reporting world

Cell C staff are the only ones that have the HSPA+ dongles right now and have access to the network.
No 3G roaming with Vodacom

The road test shows the aveage downling speed is about 3-4mbites/s
the 3G Base Stations in Joburg area are provided by NSN...they are still woring on it. No idea when they are going to finish it.
X option you have to be working for cell c to know that.
