I hope cell C can beat those prices(telkom do 3g), or this whole 3g is a waste of time for cell c
 
The modems we are selling is 900mhz ready....but I have old models still pre 900mhz 3G

Looking forward to testing Cell C 3G. When they ready.

Agreed!! Competition can only be good for us consumers!!!

I also hope that Telkom Mobile comes in at a lower price than Do3G...

can't really use the 2100mhz modems, very few areas will have 2100mhz coverage.

Im proud to say I was the first person to find out about 3G while Cell C was just testing it out and left a clue on speedtest.net last year. I started a post: people said I was mad, lmao, that speedtest was broken.

Today I got myself an HSPA device and guess what? Im picking them up! Access is up and down: getting kicked out now and again even with my Cell C sim.

:whistle: Well I know I did something worth it in the reporting world:D


oh btw I think you guys would have read something on the news page about the sunday time thing

Cell C staff are the only ones that have the HSPA+ dongles right now and have access to the network.

Why not Joburg on the launch list? And I am with Moggles....pricing is what I am very curious about. As you all know Vodacom is currently cheaper than Cell C. We give 600meg and CellC give 500meg for the same price???? We have 3G and Cell C dont...does not make sense to me. Seeing that Cell C behind on the speed and techno side of things, I would have thought they would at least try and come in cheaper to get more market...but nope...they came in at the same pricing. ?

the 3G Base Stations in Joburg area are provided by NSN...they are still woring on it. No idea when they are going to finish it.

X option you have to be working for cell c to know that.
