Cell C Direct not answering their phones for ex potential customer

I am really frustrated because of the service not recieved from Cell C.

13 May 2011 - I have applied for the Laptop deal that cell c is currently running.
19 May 2011 - a few days after my application was approved I called Cell C Direct asking when the laptop will be delivered. I was informed that it was on its was to me and I could expect it within a few days.
23 May 2011 - No Laptop, I tried calling Cell C Direct. No answer. Tried Again, was told by the Trevor Noah machine that I should call back during office hours. (even though it was 11am on a monday)
Since then I have called customer care, they told me that there was nothing that they could do for me, i should just keep trying to call cell c direct and eventually someone will pick up (noone ever picked up).
Send an email to customer care, still no reply.

So after all this I am quite upset with a service i havent even tried yet. My airtime is finished as well. all this phoning and holding is expesive.

I'm hoping that Cell C can sort this problem out for me and prove that they do know what customer service is.
 
as much as i am a cell c fan they service is non-existant and they don't have a clue what customer service is all about
bunch a black empowerement benifiting yuppies at that company as far as i'm concerned
and they are so sure they can get away with treating customers badly because they far away on the other side of the phone = well i taught the western cape regional managers assistant a lesson in how i track people down and nail them with a nail gun to the wall!!! in the end i had the last laugh
keep fighting dude and go straight to the top!!

Why is it that you always have to throw your toys out of the cott before you get decent service from cell c? I think cell c can save allot of money by firing all the useless call centre staff (which should be about 90% of them) and upgrade their network even more.
 
I tried cell c direct again. The line is open now but we are informed that we may have to wait unusually long due to cell c upgrading their systems, and a small skeleton team working to attend to stolen or lost calls. If we dont have a stolen or lost cellphone we should call back monday afternoon. I'm not sure if they mean today or next week. (Come on Trevor, be more specific)
The only way to continue holding is to enter your cell c phone number. Which I dont have yet.

I agree with BravoFox on the call centre staff. "Sorry sir, there is nothing we can do for you, please call 084145 instead..." But I already called and the line is off. "Keep trying sir." Um, really? "Yes sir." Okay. **Booooooooooop** Damn...
