Nice to have met some fellow MyBroadbanders! I think we were all like kids at xmas when we got our speedsticks! A HUGE thank you to rpm, MyBroadband, and Cell C for the invitation to attend the launch event!

Posted from my new 21.6mbps speedstick, in Roodepoort (with its poor coverage), average speeds around 8.05mb down, 3.02mb up!

Did any of you who attended grill cell c regarding their new top up data bundle rates or were you all paid off in the form of free gifts?

I'm just worried about when the promotion ends or you run out of cap and need to top up. Paying more money than I would to vodacom to top-up does not make me happy.

You're talking about a difference af about R11.00 per gig. How many extra gigs are going to buy above the 5GB per month? Anyway you can always get those from Vodacom if you want.

@decotey.CellC would hate to lose their customers who signed up on the 2/5 gig packages so expect another promotion in the future.
 
On the 17th November 2012 marks the 2 year anniversary of Cell C launching HSPA+ in Gauteng.

I've been with Cell C for 2 years now and I'm still a happy client. (No, I don't work for Cell C...:p)

Still going strong....:love:

No question about, Cell C roll-out was very successful. Some uncertainty about future and lack of lidership during last one year, but last few months everything is getting back on the track. :)

Not in 2010, no. They did mention about covering 97% of SA by the end of 2011, but that never came to pass.

Hopefully AKC will keep his promise.
