Cell C gives Nandos stick

well done to Cell C for seeing the humour in this ad and not running to ASA.
I am sure they see mostly a lot of saved money in this ad.

When a fastfood chain starts to advertise your product for free on TV, even if only indirectly, one would be stupid to kill it off.

Thought the radio add is good, but the TV add is even better and yes well done to Cell Cs management

Yeah, the Copyright © after Nandos in the CEO's office was classic - cleverest part of the ad :D

Hahaha. Very funny. I love the Cell C, or rather, the Copyright logo in Nando's add. Even putting a little Cell C in their own add.

But I am sure the gift will be warmly welcomed by the 2 directors. And I can see some smaller players try and get Cell C's attention too now.

It would be brilliant if Kagiso and Trevor kept picking on eachother until an ad comes out where they both meet in a nandos outlet because cell c have installed wifi networks in nandos stores :D

That'll be brilliant! You should send that to them...

My connection of choice - Cell C. My fast (read slow, but don't sacrifice quality for speed please) food option - Nandos.

Big up to both these companies, you will both continue to gain my business!

These 2 companies are not in the same market, but usually companies that are big lack a sense of humor. Love the reaction and the lack of lawsuits. They are treating it as level-headed adults and not running to mommy to complain. Cell C and Nando's ftw:-)

Are Vodacom and MTN going to report Nandos to the ASA for using 5Gs? :D

If Nandos claimed they crammed 37 sunripened tomatos into each bottle of sauce I am sure Allgold would take is seriously and if they found that Nandos also only does 36 per bottle then they would take it to ASA.

Cell C might be out of the dog box for sticking with 2G for far too long, but they are still far from being heroes or the salvation of mobile data.

Ah, the good old Anti-Cell C troll rears his ugly head again. Just surprised it took him 5 pages to appear.

Well someone needs to be the bad guy to balance out all the goody goody, lah-di-dah-di, namby hoity wishy pamby toity washy, dah-di-la-di, 4Gs, hawk watching, stiff upper lip, stiff upper house master, prim and proper, Cell C Hummer Hummer Cell C, mobile data stuff.

Maybe Cellc and Nando's are sharing the costs for advertising.....

The fact is that people are enchanted by thses ads and are enjoying it. Shows its a win win for both companies.

Excellent PR for both brands.
