Mine weren't working earlier. It was saying connected but there was no internet. Then it couldn't pick up 4G at all so I gave it a break and tried again now I had to fiddle with the settings for a while before it was able to connect.

Mine started working around 5pm, but I'm only getting 2mbps, whereas I was getting 20mbps before. Do they mention anything in their T's and C's about minimum speed?
I'm also still getting an intermittent connection

same here, good latency, but not so good throughput.

4mbps to Cape Town speed test server and 2mbps to Johannesburg.

Same here too, just like yesterday, ping great, signal strength great, speed slooooooooow
4mbps down, 15mbps up

I cancelled my adsl. Now I am stuck with this lousy so called internet for another 5 months. Will just have to downgrade to the 50GB package for now and use telkom prepaid LTE which actually works.

How times have changed

Has anyone had any luck with returning the router if you're out of the grace period?

Hi Spiceman

Please PM us the number in question, physical address + an alternative contact number.

We will have a look on this matter.

I've had 0 connectivity since Monday afternoon. I only say Monday afternoon because I don't actually know when it dropped but according to logs on the router there was an event on the router at around 3pm on Monday afternoon and when I got home that evening I had no connectivity. So, I just logged a support ticket with Axxess now because I'm patient like that. Today is day 5 since receiving the router and if it doesn't get resolved today I think I may be forced to cancel the service this evening when I get home if there is no connectivity. Out of 5 days only 2.5 days of connectivity. I guess 50% is the new 98%. :/

My service has been "stable" for the past 3 days now. During peak periods I get about 5Mbps D || 16Mbps U. Other times it goes to about 12Mbps D || 22 Mbps U. The router is not placed in the most optimal spot, so I could probably get more speed.

Latency has stabilized at 33ms again. I'm based in Bellville, Cape Town. My B315 settings are (if it matters):

APN Name: INTERNET
User: null
Password: null
IPV4
APN: null (yes, null and not lte.broadband.is... was given this advice by a call agent from axxess)

Manually set to 4G only.
Manually selected Cell C 4G.

Interesting, I'll give that a shot tonight when I get home. Thanks!

Is there a preferred router to use with the SIM? I believe it can work on any hardware
