Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

Look like the data usage on the Axxess site is incorrect, or they've capped me early, or they have issues again.
The site shows I have used 45.8 gigs with 4.2 gigs left, the data usage tab shows I've used 48.71 which leaves 1.29 gigs available, but the internet is completely dead.
I've ended my session on the router about 15 minutes ago and the data usage tab says:
* Usage data was last updated on: 2018-03-31 21:20:28

Anyone else capped with incorrect usage stats?

I experienced the same issue last month and this month Axxess decided to do give me 37GB for the new month instead of 50GB:

its not axxess' fault, they merely retrieve the info upstream. there seem to be an issue with usage allocation in general.

its being attended to by internet solutions and cellc.

you will get your full allocation for the month.

this should be fixed now. please could you check your balance now.

I can't tell if it's fixed or not because now Axxess gave me more data:

I hope they don't pull pull the following on me next month:

"If you've used more data than you've purchased, then it will be deducted from your next top-up."
 
Cell C - Fixed LTE - Axxess

Good Morning All

I have Cell C LTE coverage in the Wierda Park Area, however the speeds are terrible, only getting between 2 - 4mb on this.
signal bar is running stable a 3 bars.

Are you guys having the same issues. Thought the speed will be must better.
 
I'm using it as well and my speeds and latency are brilliant for the past month. Had issues initially but they were sorted after about two weeks and since then I'm flying high.

Have you changed your APN to lte.broadband.is?
 
It was previously on the apn. However the apn caused issues and needed to remove it. Have a blank apn. Will give a try and report back.
 
Has anyone who cancelled this service actually had any luck with getting Axxess to come and collect the router? I cancelled a month ago and Axxess keep saying they can't tell me when the router will be collected as it's with Internet Solutions/Digital Planet. I don't know how to convey the message that I am a client of Axxess and NOT Internet Solutions so the onus is on Axxess to find out when it will be collected and let me know. Worst decision deciding to be an early adopter on this!

I can't remember when last I've experienced such PATHETIC service from anyone. Either way, I got them to fetch the router after phoning their accounts department. Communicating via email/CP simply does not work with them.

I had to of course phone AGAIN to follow up and confirm the router had actually reached them so they could reverse the charge on my account.

They are extremely disorganized, I wish Afrihost would just move all operations to their HQ and dissolve Axxesss.
 
Is it at all possible to get the router and sim delivered to a work address? How are u supposed to get it while you are at work?

And am looking between mweb/web africa LTE 100gb. Any other recommendations or suggestion who to go with?

Mine got delivered to work. Mweb is best to go with. I am with mweb.
 
Thanks, so you rica before they deliver, and you can specify a different address for delivery?
