Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

It was working a while ago, and now it's back down again! COME ON MAN!

Problems here as well (pretoria). Down yesterday early morning. Now this evening.

Modem connects to 3g only but with no data (I think this is restricted at apn level). If I force the modem to 4G only I have no reception or it reports "limited service".

The service is down again. This is actually unacceptable. Can RPM and team investigate please?

Still down. Down the entire night Cell_C can you please give us some feedback?

Down since 8pm last night. What is going on cell C...

Dear Cell_C

Can you please have the option investigated to enable fall back to 3G if LTE fails. Where service failure has occurred in the past few months, it would seem only to affect the LTE network. The 3G network is still live, but our current service/apn is not allowing 3G data. Enabling it would at least provide a basic service level while LTE is being restored.

Kind regards

An ETA or estimated ETA on the resolve would be nice. Some of us are dependent on this service for business!

Stick your apologies up your butt, it's been mostly offline for 2 days. Someone should be getting fired, not apologising.

Hey no need to be rude. I get you might be frustrated (as am I), but don't take it out on the forum reps who are actually here to help. If you feel the need to be rude to someone, phone your isp (who you are actually paying) or take your business elsewhere.

Having a Cell C rep on this public forum is a nice-to-have, as in be nice to have it.

Agreed. It's good that Cell C actually have a responsive rep on here to at least give us some sort of feedback.

Message: Our upstream provider has identified the cause of the recent down time on our Cell C Fixed LTE services. They will be performing emergency maintenance this evening 19 July 2018 Between 23:00-5:00 to resolve the issue. Users might experience 30minutes of service interruption during this time.

Yeah I think everyone in this forum post can tell you exactly the copy/paste answer Axxess gives you, being rude to ISP is useless 100% of the time as they just don't care.. as in its not their problem, its cell-c/IS
