Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

Thanx to all the Guinea pigs - based on your reporting here, there is no way I am signing up for this now.
Can't believe there are no reps from Cell C and Axxess attending to this - your marketing is taking a serious knock here

Oh why did I not read this thread! How can AXXESS be so useless! Same issue, overloaded network that works perfectly after 23:00 up to 47mbps! Now I just have to change my life to have Internet (at night)

Luckily my ADSL cancellation hasn't gone through yet so I can switch to that for the evening. I can't quite fathom how AXXESS can actually market this and charge consumers for it. I am completely unable to use the internet this evening if I try via the CellC fixed LTE router. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get AXXESS to actually sort this mess out or is it easier to just return everything and actively discourage anyone from purchasing this 'deal'?

Rather cancel and get the Telkom night time data for R50 for 500gb

Seems mine only one working?

Mine was pretty good during the day, but sometime around 7 this evening it got kind of lousy.

Edit:
Actually, it seems up and down. Somtime between 8 and 8:45 PM it was a useless. Nothing would load. But it's nine now and everything seems to be working fine... Might have just been a network issue.

My connection is also extremely slow. I never experienced such slow internet in my life.
Cannot browse the web without refreshing pages a few times.
What's going on Axxess/Cell C?
I'm considering cancelling my month-to-month contract if this continue.

Totally unusable right now. Just switched to my Normal Cell C data sim and it’s working flawlessly. The Cell fixed LTE is just terrible. I have given up

Axxess have not responded to a single complaint to anyone on this forum. I have to assume that they don't have any answers as to how to resolve this issue we are having.

It's absolutely terrible. What do you think of the Rain Network via Vox or other provider. Who's the best?

I'm getting intermittent service in Durban on Axxess CellC. It seems to get worse in the evenings so I'm guessing it's a congestion issue.

I've been waiting 3 days for them to send me a usable form to, I assume, give them some technical info, but the first 2 they sent were corrupted, and the last 2 were blank. Great service

Speedtest.net shows some weird locations when i try a speed test during these timing out periods. It shows my nearest server as joburg, whereas when the internet is working fine, it correctly shows me my nearest servers. And when I click GO on the speedtest it pauses on connecting for a few seconds then returns back to the main page.

I had the same issue. It thought I was in Brazil...

I am in Amsterdam.............

I sent AXXESS a link to this thread in a e-mail ticket...... just because I can.

Has anyone received anything more than vague answers from Axxess regarding the fixed LTE?

Yes, just got off the phone with them, "The problem has not yet been resolves Sir, and we cannot provide you with an ETA on when it will be fixed". I think I am ****ing aware that it has not yet been resolved.

Any other assistance? "Yes Sir, we have logged a fault with IS for you, you can contact them......."

This is just silly, axxess provided no assistance and just basically said "well, not our job".

SERVICE CANCELLED.

From my side I've just had a ticket opened with Axxess where they told me to change the network setting on the router to 4G to see if that helps. I made the change this morning but had to go to work so I'll be able to test properly this evening.

For all the CPA guru's out there - would I be within my rights to notify AXXESS in writing that my service is not working satisfactorily (I only received the router on Monday so I'm still within the 5 day cooling off period) and I will give them a week or two to resolve it. If they are unable to resolve it then I want to return the router with no costs incurred?

You are only able to return all goods and services at no cost (excluding 15% banking fee) within 7 days of payment
