so i want to know if you guys have this issue.
iv used cell c a long time now and its getting worse.

i have full coverage even LTE A which i got a router for.

But even when the speed is high i get dropped all the time. barely finish a game.

Iv had my APN unrestricted and everything still issues.

i get kicked from game server due to lost connection then i have to get off game and come back in. the internet is still onlione and logs in strait away but i constantly get drops.

is this cause its a mobile network. or a cell c issue. i remember not having this happen to me on my telkom card even over full day raids on destiny.

pls advise

What router do you have?? in the Router there should be A diagnosis page. post the Signal Status. Screenshot it crop it in windows paint post the picture here. :)

Have the same issue on cell c. Get kicked from lobbies all the time when gaming. I think it's due to the packet loss cell c has been having, which has been confirmed and documented by many other cell c users on this forum on the network issues thread for cell c . Still no response cell c on this issue.

Hi Mity

Please advise if you have unrestricted APN's.

Hi CooperX

Please provide us with your email address so that we can send you the application form which you need to sign and return together with your ID copy for unrestricted APN's. You can PM us your email address.

@ statz000 change your network selection to manual, then search, when a list of available networks comes up you will see

Cell C: Available
Vodacom: Available
MTN: Restricted

Register on vodacom, you will more than likely have a far more stable network connection. I have a cell c contract and I never ride on cell I always ride on vodacom.

+1 to this. I did this a few days ago and the network quality and speed is amazing on Vodacom's network.

I tried doing this and even though I select Voda 4G I get stuck on 2G. :/

Cell C does not have a roaming agreement for Vodacom 4G - they covered for Vodacom 2G and 3G.

I get 7 - 9Mbps on Vodacom 3G, of which I can actually use. I get similiar speeds on Cell C's network in Summerstand, Port Elizabeth, but the actual speed is really slow... I think they prioritize speed tests.

There is also a setting on your modem/router where you can change your connection type, It must be set to 3g only and not 3g/2g otherwise you will sometimes be connected by 2g due to the signal being stronger.
