Cell C LTE trial underway

Cell C has announced the launch of its Long Term Evolution (LTE) data trial, becoming the last major mobile operator in SA to do so.

Wish government will get its ^%#@! act together and allocate spectrum.

Why are they always the millstone around the neck dragging us back to the dark ages?

Is there a cell c LTE coverage map anywhere?

It's a trial to a closed group...why would they need to know about it?

'Cos you'll need to go into a store to buy the dongle and sim, and as they are offering the package to 800 people, there will be quite a bit of store activity.

What is the point of rolling out LTE when Cell C hasn't even finished their roll-out of 3G yet? Cell C's 3G coverage is pathetic and they should be using their resources to fund more 3G base stations.

Woot!! I fall into the coverage area (Durban, Berea)

I wonder if we can pay that R3000 off as a contract or does it have to be a once off? (not many of us have 3k lying around)

Where are you guys finding the coverage area maps?

MTN still a major operator ?

They are hopeless, personally would classify them as a minor competitor.
