Cell C MyCellC Accounts Broken?

The My Accounts page still down on the main site. We coming up on 2 months now, I guess they had to lay off some developers to give us awesome data prices :D
 
and lol at their password. You can basically log into anyone's account now with that hack can't you?
 
You won't believe how much this issue is inconveniencing people who are using Cell C sim cards in remote devices like alarm systems, routers, etc. It's impossible to check the balance on any sim card without physically driving onsite, taking the sim card out of the device, sticking it in a cellphone and using USSD. Thank goodness I'm using prepaid sim cards, I'm replacing all my cell c sims with Telkom Mobile sims as soon as possible. This is absolutely ridiculous.

that's strange.... I have a 60+60GB pre-paid sim and it works perfectly on that link - CellC seems to be totally out of control and falling apart - good thing my package is coming to an end soon

And what about the unrestricted APN we were promised way back in 2007 already? Nothing but tumbleweeds now whenever you ask Cell C about the unrestricted APN. Such an easy thing to implement, I can't believe we're 6 years down the line and still nothing.
 
Have to say, i have recently moved a number of accounts from mtn to cell c.
Find Cell C website to be "heavy" & slow to load (by comparison to both mtn & vodacom) both on handheld device & via laptop / adsl connection.
In fact I hate it. Navigation is simple but those loading times & errors . . . !!

Did the same with me. I topped up R30 and then it s started working OK. Maybe when there is no airtime it doesn't work
 
just noticed that the CellC rep last commented on this thread on 27Mar - about 4 weeks ago...... that company must be in dire straits! and one can probably not blame the rep, as the incompetence seems to be higher up - sad really, they were quite good 2 years ago and we really need competition in this country
 
I think we need to follow the guy around the forums asking about this. He is still posting on other threads

Am talking about stalking the cell rep. Will I get punished for that?

doubt if you will be punished ;) I just have the feeling his/her hands are chopped off and they are doing what they can - we need to send the higher ups a message.....

He helped me massively a while back with an usual request - and got it right !
Dont know how much time he spends browsing the forums, but he responds very quickly to a PM - very very helpful guy !
