Cell C MyCellC Accounts Broken?

PROMISES PROMISES

Hi Morkhans,

My account is temporarily not available due to maintenance, which will take approximately 72 hours, we apologise for the inconvenience.

CellC|TM

It is now 24 April 2013, more than a month since this posts and the My Account link on the CellC website is still broken. I am not sure what the reasons are but it is very frustrating. I have an iPhone which uses the small sim and two data contracts with CellC which uses the larger sim. So I find it very inconvenient to check my data balances. Please guys, this is not rocket science!!!

I haven't read the entire thread, but has anyone tried posting on the CellC facebook page?

The response i got on facebook:

Hi Michael ,

As per IT , it should be up and running by the end of this week.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Regards
Cell C | TK

tsk don't see anything new. What were you up to the past two months?

They have removed the address details tab, but in my opinion it still exposes too much customer information.
1. steal cell phone
2. reset mytools password
3. harvest all the account holders details
4. phone bank and reset internet banking information using details in (3)
5. bank account now effectively owned by phone thief

They should require addition information to reset the mytools password

well they just removed functionality.. now you cant do things like change your bill delivery method or change address details as said above.

So I can't key in a voucher online?

I think I'm switching to Vodacom. **** man, how useless is Cell C?

I ported over to Cell C last night (contract) and when I try and register, it says the "account currently does not exist"...

GOOD BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE

Well Cell C, your prices were good, but your poor service makes your product unusable.

Don't answer call centre calls. Take weeks to reply to emails. Pathetic, unhelpful "solutions" when you do eventually reply. Lies. No way to redeem vouchers online. This thread's problem (it's a biggie). Etc, etc, etc.

I can put up with a bit of crap to save a few bucks, but not this much. I'm going to give 8ta a try. It's going to be easier to redeem an 8ta voucher online every 2 weeks, than to use your backward options.

Good bye and good riddance.
