CELL C - SHOCKING SERVICE

yeah it completely messed up! further to this, I did not budget for the R900 debit, which is wrong. So I was hoping to get it solved before my debit goes off on the 27th. fat chance of that happening now.

K. Time for feedback. Short answer : problem not resolved. :mad: the data bundle is apparently loaded but i can't see it on 14302. They therefore sent it to Another department. What is really irritating me now is the fact that my billing has to go through 140. When i emailed the manager of gateway she said she will query all my issues as identified in the e mail. I am going to throw my toys out the cot today. This is beyond pathetic and the service levels leave alot to be desired. :mad:
 
It doesn't get better with the other SPs though. I was on MTN, my SIM was disabled 3 times due to non-payment. The account was set up for debit order and there was more than enough money in the account, yet we called and were told that we didn't pay the account.

I had to explain how a debit order works to the consultant at MTN, still told me that I had to pay the account, that was the point where I just said manager vs. shouting at her (they had pepper sprayed a guy 20 minutes earlier for shouting at a different consiltant, so wasn't planning on getting angry) nevertheless, it got sorted out, had to repeat the experience a few times though.
 
I have to say, it seems like these issues are very common at Cell C.

This also seems to happen at MTN (as per Mike's post). I'm grateful that this hasn't ever happened at VSP, but they're just not impressing me with their packages anymore. Now if CellC can settle the billing crap properly and the hassles with the bundled data, I'd gladly jump ship!
 
Oh Lordy, Lord. Where Do i Begin.

1 word - not sorted out.

firstly, - bank charges not reversed. I spoke to a cell c rep and asked her to email me with a breakdown of reversal charges and I would reply back with my bank statement. She did not. I accepted the loss because I was too frustrated, bothered to sort it out! I reached breaking point.
secondly - Itemised Billing - still paying for a service I can't use.
thirdly - Billing still wrong. I wish I could tell you what's wrong and what's happening but I Haven't got the foggiest idea. billed 917.05 in April. Mid May reversal done, left me with a credit of R46. This month, I get billed R500. Data loaded as a paid subscription with some discounts that don't add up. Data size is incorrect as well. ( 150 loaded not 250). I call 140, No data bundle loaded. I checked my usage ( 3g watch dog) and I have used 128mb data thus far but 14302 say no free data available. :wtf: current unbilled charges ~R300

I am seriously lost for words. I have Pm'd LPR for assistance.

Put your story on http://www.hellopeter.com/ also. Service like this is totally crap. If I am not mistaken, you can sue them for breach of contract, I would. They are fast to jump on you when you breach a contract, but its OK when they do it? I don't think so!
 
quick update.

Someone called and topped up my data. ( they gave me 1gig free) but I haven't anything with regards to the billing. the guy who helped me get my data loaded ( thato or something similar) promised to call back the next day and guess what? yeah, you got it right! NO PHONE CALL!! :mad: I actually don't care that much for the data, I just want my billing sorted out :(

Thought I had problems with my 2Gig a month prepaid service! I still get about 5 random disconnects per 3 hours use... and if one clown try to tell me the problem is with my modem or PC I'm going to blow a gasket!

Come'ooon CellC, man up man!, just admit you are giving me a k@k service instead of trying to blame me!

Seriously dude, I really hope you get sorted out. This is unacceptable and such bad publicity.

i too got some call backs seems Cell C is trying to up their game and i appreciate it as they really trying now at least before we were just trash in their eyes
glad to see things are on the up as i really need to upgrade after Vodacom ripped me off and i see its an ongoing and common thing with vodacom so cell c here i come wish me luck guys :D

this experience has been nothing but sweet. Dude, I upgraded on 2 Mar. At that moment, I queried why my data was not loaded. It only got fully loaded last week. that's 3 and half months worth of crap, running around in circles and seeing your billing and budgeting messed up.

So u say 8ta here i come?? as i only took out my data bundle with cell c still looking for a voice contract as my data gets loaded immediately every time no issues there so far but billing wise i can understand
as there system seems to be a bit of running around in these departments but the same goes for vodacom and for MTN makes me wonder are the same people running all the billing departments of these 3 big hitters???

my bill is still incorrect. FOR FFS HOW HARD CAN THIS BE????????????????????????????????????????

my data bundle only got loaded on 14 June. So I am now paying for data usage between 1 and 13 June.
that's R270.
