Speeds have improved dramtically in Richards Bay.... Maybe a new tower or something cause singnal is better too.

Using my Huawei Acsent P1 as a wifif hotspot.

I did one test on the android phone itself outside and managed to get 16Mbps... That was pretty damn awesome.



****PS**** I have not seen this speed on cellc in Richards Bay EVER... So its pretty cool.

just did a speed test now. got a 21mbps modem but download speed only 1.79mbps . is this normal i thought cell c broadband network is fast. is this the norm ,any thoughts

Johannesburg - Northcliff area.
Have reported this and lots of Problems with our connection in our area.
None of the previous Reports could be picked up by the Technical Department.
Lats report on 29 December 2012, Have a Ref: Number for that.
So far no response from Cell-C.

At the moment it is impossible to connect to the Network.
Can't send or receive any e-mails.
If I do want to surf the web or send and receive e-mail, I have to drive around to areas where I do get a proper connection.

Moved my router to another place in the house and got the following result on HSPA+:

Living about 5km outside town I'm very happy with these sort of results, and they are constant except when there is a bit of bad weather but that is alright with me. Just hope that Cell C's LTE won't take too long to reach our area
