This is all on 668 Black card, Uitzicht with 4 to 5 bars network signal

VC I get sustained 4Mb/s with a 7Mbps card to CellC test site.

and over 5Mbps to local VC site.

Disappointed is not the word. Returned the modem today,
back to VC where I ordered a 21Mbps card {4505} with their 2+2GB 12 month contract.

Im finding interesting things with the CellC network recently

Have a look at these speed tests

TEST WAS DONE : using the same usb port, same sim card on each network,same loaction

1. It is clear to see the difference between speeds on both the 3.6 and 7.2 modems
2. The CellC speed test clearly show there is a small difference between the devices
3. The PING on the Cell C modem was greater than the Vodafone one

Is CellC limiting speed? In reality the CellC tower is close by,compared to the Vodacom one yet I got 5Mb/s on CellC's modem using Vodacom

I'm starting to get the feeling that Cell C is limiting the speed, at least at my tower - I used to get consistent 9UP and 3Down, then for 3 weeks I could get 3G, but not access the internet and now it is more stable, but I never get more than 3UP and 1.2DOWN - Also have a Vodacom stick and it hasn't given me any hassles and is now consistently faster than Cell C - The whoooosh is gone.... and it does now seem red is better

Download Speed: 5763 kbps (720.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 2011 kbps (251.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

Latency: 56 ms

DONE USING:

Cell C 7.2Mb/s modem with full coverage,tower less than 500m away from location.
Cell C has lost the speed it had in my area of Durban,

ME, being the first to discovery Cell C was testing 3G before it was known to public (did post it on myBB ) after I found speedtest results with 3G speeds. Now this is sad. Im moving networks

Upload Speed: 1687 kbps (210.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

Latency: 138 ms
