I still have my whooosh since the outtage. :D
I see there's still the problem that the pings to Namesco in London are double those to TranceFM in London.

Still erratic connection, very frustrating. Especially considering they do not seem to providing the technical support needed to optimize our connections.

Battling to get mAcme working to test my signal strength.

People like me, need technical support Cell C - if you are listening!

Hi folks

I'm with iBurst at the moment - good old 1mbit connection. From the speed test results, it looks like Cell-c only gives decent speeds locally, and not quite so good internationally?

It depends on your area and tower congestion.

It depends on your area and tower congestion.
Surely not. I would say your maximum speed (local or international) would be determined by your local conditions (signal strength and tower cognestion), differences between local and international speeds would be determined by the capacity of Cell-C's international links.

That's what I meant, just used the wrong wording... :o

So it depends on signal strength in your area and tower congestion...;)
