Cellc 4GS (3.75G), how do i check my data usage?

I have a Hauwei E230 modem with Mobile Partner. The data connection is working great, but I don't want to remove the sim and put it into a cellphone to check my usage.

I've registered on the Cellc website, but can't see my usage.
I've tried sending an SMS to 14302 with the word "balance", but that doesn't work.

Cellc / Trevor!, Please assist.
 
Get MDMA (Sticky in Vodacom Forum) and use USSD to check your balance.
 
Or just download the CellC dash which is a branded version of Mobile partner anyway
Has a Balance enquiry button in the Services tab

The data it shows when i do this, is that the data i have left till 31 November or how does this work?

You may have to wait a long time for 31 November :D Maybe a few thousand years ?

The data that it shows is what you have until 30 October (ie this Saturday).
 
There is no easy way to see what your balance is if you have the modem plugged into a router.

Cell C would have to create an internet page based monitoring tool (as Vodacom has).

Ah yes, getting mixed up with the months.

Its weird though. I gor the stick yesterday. The R1499 2gb/pm one.
Today i get a msg from cell c saying i have 5 gig data left....

This was the message:

Number: +2784**********
Content:
You have 5120.00 MBytes of data available.
Time: 26/10/2010 10:12:10

Any thoughts on this as i am only supposed to have 2gb per month??
 
Thank you 1geoff99 ! This will save me having to either take my dongle out my gateway and putting in my machine every time just to check usage!

right so Im house-sitting and the owner is in EU.

I'd like to check how much is left on this dongle coz I wanna lan with some mates, but dont wanna run out of data midway through the night.

he has a wireless router, with a cable plugged into it... with a mini docking station kind of thing. The Cell-C dongle is plugged into that! Its a white dongle, and has a glowing blue light. If I unplug it, and plug it back in it flashes green for about 15 sec before going blue again.

Is there any way to check the data usage without the user and password?
