CellC and FNB

I'm forever running into issues with FNB's online banking and CellC. Whether it's getting the OTP code when making an EFT or like now with buying airtime. FNB insists it's an issue with CellC.

Anybody else having this problem with CellC or is it FNB's side that can't get their act together

Never had any issues. OTP is always received almost instantly.
 
My housemate bought airtime via ABSA last week and it took a few hours to come through.
 
If you able to receive normal SMS's then it's not network related... Probably the tool that FNB uses to automate these SMS Notifications...
 
Also with Cell C and FNB and I don't ever wait for my OTP.

What is the nature of the problem? Are you still struggling with your online banking? What are you unable to do?

I never have any issues with FNB (or any of their services) but then again, I do most of my stuff at home on ADSL.
When I am using it via cellphone, my SP is Vodacom.
 
I have had an issue once and I am on Cell C (not for long though, cancelling in 2 months :D ). Called my banker and he said that it was because it was a lot of people's pay day and there was a backlog of sms's going out to customers.
