The Bundles has been depleted message is always delayed whenever I have airtime and it always end up using up all my airtime this is pretty messed up cell c what's up with that

Why don't you just check your balance instead of relying on the sms?

I check sometimes but when I browse I tend to get lost in what I'm browsing I suppose I could just limit the data in the settings. I just thought it was suspect because before cellc would send it immediately after depletion.

You should get an sms before the bundle is depleted. You are right you can get lost in the browsing and before you know it, you are charged out of bundle rate. Let me know if the warning sms's don't come through. *DM*

seems that besides rounding internet usage they are now delving into very unsavory practices. the champion of the poor consumer my ass.

Do these warning smses come with prepaid bundles as well? If so, then I never get these.

I have never received SMS notifications alerting me of a data bundle about to expire / run out. And I buy bundles regularly.

Edit: I am on Prepaid, so it could be that.

Set up proper monitoring on your device. If you have an Android device set the mobile data warning to come up at about 50MB before your bundle expires, this works great for me.

It would work great if Cell-C didn't charge you in 25kb increments!
Prepaid and post-paid the warning on android of "your service provider may charge differently from this" is VERY true for Cell-C.
PS - I have also only once received a 'you're running low message' -- wasn't a problem until they upped the OOB. Now it is!
