Census 2022 results released

With our electricity woes, massively high unemployment figures, and worsening drought conditions, how much higher can our numbers go to be sustainable in the country? Are we going to handle 70 or 80 million people? I don't we're going to have the water or the tax base to support it...

Given the size of the economy, tax base etc etc... I think our sustainable population figure is around 40 - 50m. Much beyond that unless we see decent economic and infrastructure growth is not sustainable.

Do note the White population as a percentage is declining, but its staying pretty much the same numbers wise. Below the stats from Stats SA. If I am not mistaken by the current trajectory but 2035 we would have almost 100 million people in SA. The downside is that a lot have to rely on social services, and so the strain becomes more on the tax base. As people leave for abroad, it will keep putting more and more pressure on till it breaks.

Currently its noticably breaking if we look at the tax shortfalls being collected.

Now I can go dig into that a bit... Normally Corelli has a tendency to make shyte up on the fly.

And check the language list - English on Nr 5, Afrikaans Nr3. Julle soutpiele moet leer Afrikaans gesels.

All that money wasted on the census and they cant even count.
They must have gone to the same school as JACOB ZUMA.

Now LISTEN.

That graph is real and from Stats SA. Some people struggle with understanding growth over time though. The graph shows that the black, coloured and Indian populations grew at about the same rate for 100 years.

It says @StatsSA on the graph. I asked for a link

So the answer is to make it 2 countries? (or more)
Republic of the Cape needed.

"There has been a steady decline in the proportion of the White population, from 11% in 1996 to 7.3% in 2022."
The problem I have is the "I have kids and dont want more".

So I should raise another man's kid/s with you.
Shouldn't expect a kid that is our own with her.

And what? Need to be financial stable to look after her and the kids.
What do I get out of the relationship? Appreciation?

I can get the same appreciation for cheaper from a lady of the night.
