Hi guys.

My IR failed, causing gate to be stuck open/refuse to close...
I'm not at home atm so this is on my wife...
on what ports does the IR unit connect again.

it seems to be 4 wires in my case,

Have a yellow and black going onto one port, looks like a negative, a red onto power and a green onto detect.
We tried to just disconnect all, but it seems to cause a open circuit on the detector so does not help.

Can I short/connect two ports to cause a sensor bypass.

hmmm there are no numbers like port 6667 on the top of the green box/brain.

i need to tell my wife over a WA video call how to do.

I need to figure out how to do this bridge,

which 2 terminals do i bridge.

Put the gate on manual, close it, take it off manual so it can lock "in gear".

... so removing yellow wire and doing power cycle did not fix problem.
so for now gate is on manual till i get home.

You just need to install a link wire between CLOSE and COM. That will bypass the safety beams untill they are repaired.

Rather than bridging just disable it in the menu rather
Can't disable the beams on a D5 EVO, you can disable the autoclose. But the CLOSE light must be on for the gate to be able to close. Only way to have that on now is to install the link wire or have working beams.

autoclose is def not enabled.

all thats there atm is beam to make sure it does not by accident go into car if button pressed by accident while 1/2 in.
